Description/Comment:
ü Recognized as an expert and visionary in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
ü Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of the most complex, strategic, corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems.
ü Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
ü Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position Wells Fargo for the future.
ü Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
ü Participates in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications.
ü Recommends and initiates systems testing.
ü Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business.
ü Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.
10+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
Additional Job Details:
ü Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with team members at all levels.
ü Possess ability to communicate effectively with technical developers and be able to translate business requirements to non-technical marketing business partners.
ü Good working knowledge of SQL
ü Perform detailed data analysis using Teradata SQL in requirements and testing project phases.
ü Have ability to work independently and support several projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
ü Be a team player, be flexible and self-motivate.
ü Work with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
ü Work with business partners to understand problems, define, develop and document requirements, develop and execute test plans, validate data for newly implemented projects, resolve issues and participate in project meetings as a business systems consultant team
ü Provide project sizings.
ü Support business partners requests for additional research, as well as, business and systems analysis related to projects.
ü Work closely with project managers and technical staff to support projects.
ü Possess knowledge and experience of systems development process.
ü Have experience in testing and test plan development.
ü Familiarity with data warehouse database environment. (e.g. data modeling and database structures).
