Job Description:

We are looking for skilled SAP PP consultant with experience in

reporting point and material ledger/actual costing to work on the project to convert company code currency from JPY to USD for Japan entity in SAP. In this implementation, a brand new company code (with USD as company code currency and JPY as

additional local currency) will be set up as well as new plant codes and new sales organization. Master data and transactional data i.e. GL balances, open AP, open AR, WIP, inventory etc. will be transferred from current company code (with JPY as company code

currency and USD as additional currency) to new company code. The current company code also has material ledger activated and reporting point is used for WIP reporting. Material ledger and reporting point for WIP will continue to be used in new company code.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Analyze impacts on the current processes due to currency changeover

·        Finalize/create detail scope for SAP PP area

·        Design and configure PP module for new company code

·        Design and implement reporting point in the new company code

·        Develop data conversion strategy for each PP Master data i.e. BOM, cost collector, production version, routing, work center etc.

·        Develop data conversion strategy for WIP (reporting point)

·        Develop LSMW or data conversion program specification for each PP data conversion item

·        Develop detail data conversion form for each master data and transactional data

·        Perform unit testing, integration testing and data conversion testing

·        Develop test plan and test scripts for User Acceptance Test (UAT) for controlling module

·        Perform data conversion in production system

·        Collaborates with others to carry out assigned duties in a self-sufficient and independent way

 

Qualification:

·        SAP PP Functional and Configuration skills

·        Experience with reporting point and WIP calculation/variance

·        Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations

·        Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision

·        Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload

·        Must be an effective problem solver
