Position: QA Lead
Location: Columbus, OH.
Duration: 12+ Months
Requirement:
During the planning phase, the lead will work with the Tech Lead, BSA, and PM to flesh out the project from an initial scope statement and
CBA into a refined estimate with greater detail around the work. There will be involvement in Test Planning and other high level deliverables.
In the execution phase, the lead will help make story card assignments, monitor progress, perform testing, and mentor less experienced testers.
Required testing skills:
• Ability to organize and lead testing efforts.
• Ability to write a test approach/strategy.
• Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) are the preferred tools.
• Defect reporting & analysis.
• Ability to conduct test risk analysis.
• Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services.
• Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML.
• Understanding of HTML.
• Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client.
• Preferred testing skills:
o Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT).
o Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing.
o Key soft skills: Coaching, influencing, and negotiating skills
o Communications Relationship building Administrative Test planning
o Administrative Verbal Communication Skills
o Miscellaneous Defect management
o Miscellaneous Statistical analysis Yes
o Programming Languages HTML Yes
o Programming Languages VBScript
o Programming Languages XML
o Specialties Quality Assurance
o Expert Currently Using Specialties Tester
o Technical Automated Testing
o Expert Technical Test Cases
