Job Title: Linux Admin w/ F5 Big-IP
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 2-3 Years Contract
F5 Big-IP and RedHat Linux are a MUST.
The Managed Hosting Engineer/Administrator must have extensive experience with IP load balancing devices (F5 Big-IP) and with administration of monitoring applications in a complex data center environment; Red Hat System Administration skills and experience; and broad network knowledge. The successful candidate's technical skills must be commensurate with effective Project Management skills.
High skill level and experience is required for the following:
Extensive experience with administration of load balance devices (preferred F5 Big-IP)
Extensive experience with administration of monitoring applications in a complex data center environment (preferred Zabbix)
RedHat System Administration skills and experience (RHCE preferred)
Extensive Network knowledge, skills and demonstrated experience in a complex network data center environment
Demonstrated effective Project Management experience
Medium skill level and experience is required for the following:
Demonstrated VMware vCloud administration experience
Low skill level and experience is required for the following:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data center system security issues (bonus for experience with security response teams and log management)
Knowledge and working experience with Windows and Active Directory.
