Big Data – Hadoop Architect

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
1. Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and developing on Big Data Platform using Hadoop ecosystem for the large projects.
2. Should Strong experience with Core Java and experience with HDFS, Map-reduce and other tools in Hadoop ecosystem.
3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Map-reduce programming model and high level languages like pig or hive
4. Apply best practices and other techniques to solidify the business requirements.
5. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, builds solid internal and external relationships.
Roles and responsibility
1. Interacting with customer and focus on discovering customer needs and finding out how to best meet them.
2. Architect, design and build use cases and large-scale real-time Hadoop based solutions to meet the customer's needs.
3. Ability to prioritize tasks, execute them by complying to processes and towards timely completion. Follow all the customer processes.
5. Interact with the other Onsite team and offshore team do work plan to them.
6. Provide timely status reporting to the customer.
Knowledge of HDFS, Map-reduce and other tools in Hadoop ecosystem
Knowledge of Different Hadoop Platform
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills Good to have:
Teradata, ETL experience, Unix, Sqoop, Flume, Cassandra
Retail domain knowledge, Project lead/management experience is plus
Total experience in required skill (years) 8+ Years
