Job title: Pega Lead System Architect
Location:  San Jose, CA
Duration:  6-9 months
 
Role Description:
The Global Supply Service Chain Program (GSSCP) team manages key projects that fall under the strategic program Proactive SSC (Service Supply Chain).  Using the Pega Systems PRPC 6.3 platform we build new capabilities that allow our business teams to be agile and responsive to our customers.  With this new platform we will achieve lower cost of system ownership and faster delivery of applications.   We seek a highly skilled Lead System Architect to join our high performing team.  

Responsibilities:
•    Design and develop complex BPM application interfaces with ERP, web and client server based legacy systems.
•    Build process flows, activity flows, user interface, activities, assignments, flow actions etc. as identified in the business requirements and use cases documents.
•    Adhere to design standards and conventions
•    Complete technical design of all assigned elements adhering to requirements
•    Review design documents with System Architects (SA)
•    Environment set-up and admin
•    Work closely with business partners to understand their changing needs and make appropriate recommendations to project scope and approach
•    Provide technical support and issue investigation/resolution services as needed
•    Review Unit Test Plans with developers and build robust regression test suit
•    Troubleshoot/escalate issues when needed.
•    Work with multiple RDBMS     

Work experience & skills :
•    8+ years of overall IT experience with direct experience in implementing BPM.
•    4+ years’ experience using the PegaRULES Process Commander and SMARTBPM
•    Hands On experience with SOA architectures
•    At least 6-8 clear projects implemented in Pega
•    Experience in Designing and Implementing Process Flows from scratch
•    Understanding of Supply Chain domain
•    Agile and Water-fall methodology experience
•    Development of a Security design living within a portal environment  and integrating within a PRPC application
•    Must be able to define and play an active role in Architecture  Governance
•    Have an advanced understanding of the main features of PRPC; their  features and limitations
•    Good experience in using SOAP/HTTP connectors and B2B Web Services
•    Experience working with XML and familiar with XML modeling
•    Ability to quickly prototype mockups for approval by the client
•    Ability to Visualize, design and validate User Interfaces
•    Certified Pega PRPC Lead System Architect
•    Ability to interact with Business Analysts to elaborate Use Cases
•    Good communication skills

Education and Certification Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology required.
•    Pega certifications – SSA/LSA    

Preferred Skills :
•    Service Supply Chain or logistics background
•    Knowledge of Cisco SSC tools:  Oracle 11i applications (Order Mgmt, Inventory, Oracle Workflow), Xelus, ETL platforms and Business Intelligence applications (CiscoC3 or Services BO Business Objects universes)
•    Experience designing GIS-integrated applications including mobile platforms

Recommended Certifications:
•    ITIL, Six Sigma certifications
•    Certified Pega Lead System Architect
