Role – Java developer with Frontend

Location- Austin TX

Duration- 6+ months

Client – Intersys

Description;-

In this specific role, the Java Developer will work with both Intersys Consultants and client Engineers on a global system that handles millions of records that include personal, financial, and geographical data. The client has multiple applications that require feature enhancements and complete rewrites from scratch. We need someone with advanced and diverse technical expertise, a natural consultative personality, and the ability to demonstrate value of our solutions to clients.

Required Experience

6+ years Java development experience working in an enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience working with Java 1.6 or higher
Strong UI experience working with HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript (using underscore.js as a template engine to be more specific) and bootstrap is nice to have
Strong experience working with REST or SOAP
Strong understanding of Build and Release Management
Experience writing stored procedures, complex queries, functions and triggers (SQL Server)
Ability to adjust to changing assignments, requirements, and priorities
Previous technology consulting experience in enterprise environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong professional presence and interpersonal skills
Experience with Git and Maven technologies
Must have experience working in an Agile Methodology environment
