Role- Jr. Middleware Developer
Location- Houston TX
Duration- 6+ months
Consultant Rate- $45-48 / hr all incl.

Clear Communicator
Must be able to answer these questions over the phone:
Development Screening Questions:
-What is a benefit of "using statements" inside a code?
-What does a "no lock" inside of a statement do?
Server Screening Questions:
-How many servers do you support?
-What kind of load balancing have you done starting from production phase?
-Have you ever been involved in server design/layout?
Web Service:
-Name a few pros/cons between SOAP and REST web service communication/architecture.
Must-haves
- multi-tier development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.Net
- Extensive experience with SOAP and REST Web Services - 90% backend
- Extensive experience with MVC and WCF
- Experience with JavaScript, XML, SQL servers
- Understanding of application server layout and design
- Experience with testing automation
Plusses
- Experience with infrastructure and release automation
- Experience with Restful API/JSON
- Understanding of TFS and Entity Framework
Day-to-Day
Client is looking for a Sr. Middleware Developer for one of our clients in downtown Houston. This person will be responsible for support, maintenance, and new enhancements with multi-tier application development, deployment, and testing. This will be a heads down coding role and the person will be running automation testing on a daily basis. This position will be 90% backend and 10% frontend.
