Role:  Technology Lead - Java/J2EE Engineer


Location:  Hillsboro, OR


Qualifications Basic

          Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

          At least 6 years of experience with SKILLS SET

Preferred

          At least 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.

          Deep knowledge of SOA and micro-service principals

          Extensive experience in building REST services in Spring Framework

          Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team formation

          Experience with unit testing & Continuous Integration 

          Familiarity with Git

          Excellent communication towards both technical and non-technical teammates and stakeholders

          Knowledge of Spring security, DevOps & Continuous Development would be an added advantage.

          Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Jenkins would be an added advantage

          Nice to have knowledge of PLM packages (FlexPLM / Windchill)

          At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.

          At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

          At least 6 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

          At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.

          Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environments.

          Understands source quality (unit testing, good design patterns, and industry best practices)

 Job Description 


Data Archiving Architect


The Data Archiving Architect is an IT technical resource responsible for planning and executing data 


migration projects to move data from legacy database applications to a third-party database archival 


solution.   This process allows legacy applications to be decommissioned while still providing access to 


their data for operational, regulatory, and legal discovery purposes.  Because each legacy system is 


different, this role includes not only technical analysis and expert understanding of relational data and 


other data sources, but also project planning, task management, and excellent communication and 


collaboration with key business stakeholders and vendors.  Additionally, this role serves as the primary 


resource for establishing access to source systems, to include the performing DBA security tasks to set-


up the necessary privileges to extract the data. This often requires coordinating results from other 


resources within IT.  


 Research source system data & infrastructure 


 Set-up DB access archive tool 


 Install and set-up DB SQL monitoring tool


 Complete source system information in the COC Data Archive 


 Determine resolution and perform necessary tasks to resolve table archive variances


 Facilitate technical requirements, design and test documentation for archive efforts 


 Complete and submit technical data Chain of Custody documentation for archive efforts


Required Skills 


Required skills are 4+ years of direct expertise with advanced SQL, relational databases (including 


design), data modeling and other technical documentation, ETL or other mass data movement and 


migration technologies.  Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), ability to create 


and execute project plans, and demonstrated experience as a collaborative team member. 


An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or 


related field is preferred.


( 3 ) 


There is an urgent requirement for profiles having strong experience in Xamarin, .Net, WebServices

 

Profiles with Xamarin, C#.Net is Mandatory. Profiles without this is not required.

 
Details of the open position:

 

Skill set: Cross platform(iOS, Android) development with Xamarin forms, C#.Net, Web Services

Experience: 4 to 7 years only
Duration: 3 - 6 months

Location: Long Beach, CA
Start Date: Immediate - 1 week.

          Data analysis and data modeling,

          Data Migration Requirements – Ability to create end to end data mapping document,

          Data Quality Analysis (Data Conversion-Reconciliation requirements and scripts)– Should be aware of the reconciliation process involved in data migration projects, Hands-on data modeling (Logical and Physical) with tools like Erwin Data Modeler, Performance Tuning.

          At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.

          At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

          At least 6 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

          At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle.

          Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

          Experience to Retail domain.

1.      Candidate should be a high-performing test automation expert on QTP having the ability to 


train and mentor other automation analysts on the effective design and implementation of 


various test automation frameworks as needed. 


2.      7 to 10 years of progressive test automation experience


3.      Experience with driving test automation through the use of HP Quality Center 


4.      Experience and competency using standard test automation methodologies and direct 


scripting and coding in HP QTP such as Linear Scripting and Structured Scripting 


5.      Experience and competency using various test automation frameworks such as Data Driven, 


Table Driven, Keyword Drive, Hybrid 


6.      Experience in implementation of Framework from scratch.


7.      Experience in descriptive programming and automating applications even if actual 


8.      Good knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, design approaches, and effective

13.  Strong communication skills - Ability to communicate and document status and complex issues 


14.  Strong documentation skills – Ability to create clear, concise, detailed project artifacts that 


meet the standards of the Testing Center of Excellence and Software Quality Management 


15.  Illustrate experience and competency with VBScript


16.  Knowledge and experience with distributed systems, web application technologies, web 


services, and multi-layered architectures. 


17.  Knowledge of various environmental elements as they relate to testing (i.e. networking, 


hardware, software, mid-tier, etc.), and the ability to effectively assist with troubleshooting as 


18.  Ability to work in Onsite – Offshore model.
