Job Title:             Database Administrator

Location:              CA

Duration:             12 – 18 Months

 

Hourly Rate : $60/Hr on C2C

Job Description

 

Release DBA service catalog will encompass the following:

·       Join with the Release Management and Application Development teams in planning and scheduling release activities

·       Handle releases from all organizations supported by the Release Management team

·       Perform release related backups, refreshes and other database support tasks

·       Deploy schema (DDL) changes, packages, stored procedures, functions and other DML changes to QA, UAT and production environments

·       Perform post-release verification and validation

·       Participate in post-release issue identification, resolution/rollback and root cause analysis

·       Backup and refresh development as well as controlled database environments

·       Manage passwords for multiple application service accounts

·       Maintain knowledgebase

·       Maintain Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase database knowledge to cover the spread of application technologies

The Release DBA service catalog will not include access management and provisioning
