Job Description
As I mentioned, there will be 4-6 positions in Alpharetta, GA and 2 in Chelsea, NY.
The most important skills we are looking for are strong Selenium experience and experience with Cucumber and Gherkin.
Senior QA Engineer -
execute existing automation scripts AND WRITE automation scripts
Senior QA tester needed to test plan, manually execute test cases, run automated Selenium test scripts and create Selenium test scripts for complex web software development project using Agile Scrum methodology. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex software projects.
* Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium test automation tool
* Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
* 7+ years of software quality assurance experience. Experience developing software tests for functional, performance and regression testing for complex applications that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements.
* In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies. Must have strong experience working in an Agile SCRUM development environment.
* 3+ years hands on experience with Selenium test automation tool writing complex automation scripts
* 1+ years of automation scripting experience in at least on two of language Javascript/Ruby/Java/Python/C#
* 1+ years of Cucumber/Gherkin script experience
* Manual/automation testing experience with Angular based or other node.js based application preferred but not required
* JavaScript or CoffeeScript experience at least +1 year - not a must have but highly preferred
* Jasmine/Mocha hands on experience - not a must have but highly preferred
* Protractor.js/Karma test framework experience - not a must have but highly preferred
* Hands on Experience with Jenkins, Puppet, Selenium Webdriver and/or Selenium Grid is a big plus
* Experience with testing Mobile Apps and with Mobile Automation Tools like Perfecto Mobile or Device Anywhere desired.
* experience testing web services also a plus
* Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work under deadlines with heavy workloads as well as flexibility to work outside of normal business hours to meet testing needs.
