Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills Experience in Cisco Unified Communication
Roles and responsibility "1) Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of the following Cisco UC applications such as CUCM, Unity/Unity Connection, CUCME, SRST, CER, CUP, and Contact Center Applications such as UCCX, ICM, CVP.
2) Good understanding of IP networking
3) Experience in planning, designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex Cisco UC solutions and technologies for enterprise level customers.
4) Strong understanding of telephony dial plan design, implementation, and call control/routing protocols such as H.323, MGCP, SIP, SCCP, Q.SIG, CAS, ISDN PRI, FXO, FXS, and POTS.
5) Strong knowledge and experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Digital/Analog voice gateways, media resources such as conferencing, transcoding, MTP, and MoH, and voice endpoints such as IP phones, and CIPC (softphones).
6) Experience in MCS series hardware as well as UCS B/C series platforms.
7) Plan and execute large-scale UC upgrade and migration activities.
8) CCNP Voice Certified.
9) Knowledge on VMware technologies such as vCenter, vSphereEXSi, and vSphere client.
10) Working knowledge of legacy PBX such as NEC, Avaya, Nortel, and others.
11) Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange server is a plus.
12) Pre-sales activities related to UC technologies and solutions."
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills "(1). Cisco UC products Planning, Design and Implementation
(2) Leads and works on projects that are medium to large in scope with moderate complexity, which involves solutions integration
Solves complex, cross-functional issues that cross many different layers in the network including Unified Communications layer
(3) Applies good analytic process to help bring any issue to resolution. Ability to synthesize complexities into clear communication and action plans
(4) Co-authors technical documents in the areas of technical requirements, high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), Network Implementation Plan (NIP), and Network Acceptance Test Plan.
(5) Good communication skills."
