Responsibilities:
ETL/BI Developer
5-10 years experience - Our client is looking for a senior application developer that will be responsible for developing BI reporting solutions by accessing data in SQL server databases, utilizing tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server (2012) Integration Services (SSIS) packages to develop automated and interactive reporting and ETL solutions for the team. Requires focus on detail and quality, and involves conducting comprehensive testing to ensure accuracy and correct functionality of solutions.
This self-motivated individual will work closely with the Dev team and business analysts to architect, develop, and test BI database implementations according to documented business requirements and coding standards.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 5 years' experience with BI applications; decision support systems, query and reporting, analytical processing, statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining.
-Preferred: experience with the Microsoft BI / SSIS platform
-Preferred but not essential: familiarity with capital markets industry, concepts, front office trading flows"
Skills required:
Extensive experience with data Warehousing/Data marts - BI Concepts using Microsoft BI tools
Extensive experience using Microsoft MS SQL 2012 SSRS SSIS SSAS
Experience with .net web development
Data mining, sql programming, creating table. stored procedures
Modeling -data, process, events and objects
