Oracle OBIEE/BI Lead Consultant

Mandatory Technical Skills
Ideal candidates will have minimum 10-12 years working on OBIEE projects and should have experience working on a minimum of 3 full software lifecycle projects. The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers leading workshops and gathering requirements as necessary. The candidate needs to have depth and breadth in their core Oracle expertise and experience in integration with an ERP environment. Good oral, writing and documentation skills are required.
• minimum of 5 years of relevant experience on the special subjects BI/OBIEE (GL, AP, AR, FA, PA)
• Strong experience in architecting and delivering complex Oracle enterprise solutions for global organizations focused on Business Intelligence.
• Experience with Oracle release 12,
• Strong Functional and Business Process knowledge related to: Enterprise Reporting
• Experience on at least two implementation as a Lead consultant
• Strong understanding of BI reporting for Oracle FI best practices and design.
• 5+ years Oracle experience
• Bachelors Degree in relevant academic field (business management, computer science, economics, business informatics)
Desirable Technical Skills
• Experience with ‘Big 4’ or other consulting experience a plus
• Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems
Mandatory Functional Skills Support TCS Transformation engagements and thought leadership in BI Transformation. Responsibilities include supporting development of practice by assisting sales pursuits, development of thought leadership and content and acting as track lead on engagements.
As part of a project team, acts as BI/OBIEE consultant driving and executing Development activities, including but not limited to:
• Work with client resources to gather and document requirements
• Provide guidance and expertise with recommended financial design in Oracle to support the solution
• Development of solution approach and documentation
• Performs any required mapping and development to support data conversion and supports the testing and conversion/cutover activities.
• Develops the required work products and documentation to support the project effort
• Participates in providing gap analysis, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, and best practices.
• Manages plan and resources for designated area of responsibility
• Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues.
Desirable Functional Skills
• Capable of leading customer workshops or design definition working together with a senior advisor.
