Title: Data Modeler
Duration: 12+ month contract w/ possible extensions
Location: Culver City, CA
Rate: $55/hr C2C/1099
Interview: May hire straight from 1st round phone, may do second round in person or skype
Must Haves- (1) Data Modeling exp- 4-5 years exp in all phases- logical, conceptual, physical (2) Teradata- need to be able to tune queries, build logics, build new processes.
| Relevant Experience (Yrs) | : | - Total 8-9 Years of experience as Data Architect/Modeler.
- Experience of using in CA-Erwin as data modeling tool

| Necessary Skills | : | - Ability to understand the customer’s business requirements, business processes and system functionality to develop the data design and maintain the source of data.
- Able to perform conceptual, logical and physical data modeling and design.
- Knowledge and experience(at least 3 years) in Teradata is mandatory
- Choose between an appropriately normalized data model or a more dimensionalized model
- Ability to choose when to use aggregation, how to model time and history
- Strong familiarity with the data being populated in the new models in order to assist with quality assurance and serve as the subject matter expert for model
- Work with BA and ETL team to define requirements for Data Quality monitoring and support the design thereof
- Good understanding of data modeling techniques for high volume transaction systems.
- Good communication skills (Verbal + Written) and convincing skills to various stakeholders.
