Role: GEMS II Technical Delivery –
Transport Lead (Other ERP Resource)
Start Date: Mon, 9 Dec, 2013
End Date: Mon, 8 Dec, 2014
Job Description: Analyst to join GEMS II Technical
Delivery team in the area of technical integration. The main
responsibility will be for managing the dual maintenance (transports)
between our Base support (ECC6) landscape and our Project landscape.
Currently there are 5 existing systems (including BW) to manage and
will grow to 10 during the life of the project.
Tasks would include:
Weekly extract of the transports released from the respective
development environments
Analysis of those that can be forwarded to the Project landscape and
those that must be manually dual maintained (due to difference in
Support Pack levels or when the same object is being modified)
Forward , re-pack and release the dual maintenance transports that can
be forwarded
Communicate to transport owners for those that require manual dual
maintenance
Maintain spreadsheet of activity and steward metrics of progress
Must be knowledgeable in SAP areas: SAP TM / SAP Solution Manager / SAP
ChaRM & ABAP
TMS (SAP transport management system)
ABAP coding and ability to analyse objects
SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM
Basis technical areas
**Note** Would be ideal if, the candidate had experience with: **
Live Compare
SAP Retrofit and or Cross system Object locking
Duration: 6 months
SAP OER solution setup and SAP ECC Event Management configuration and
setup.
Candidate must have strong expertise within SAP OER ( Object event
Repository) Architecture and SAP AII ( Auto ID Infrastructure) -
configuration and deployment.
Candidate should have an experience in SAP Aii/ OER integration with
Existing SAP ECC,SAP PI and other manufacturing technologies.
Candidate should have a broad knowledge of different Industry
Serialization, packaging and warehouse processes and epidree topics.
Strong expertise. within SAP Aii and SAP OER and the ability to
configure these products.
Configuration and operational knowledge of other SAP Products and
modules such as ITS Mobile ,Web services ,SAP ECCC Sales and
distribution (SD)
Warehouse management(WM), Material Management (MM), SAP Process
integration (PI) and SAP ABAP is Beneficial.
Good communication and documentation skills required .
