Job Duties & Responsibilities:	•Performs product design tasks of a moderate to high complexity which may require research and analysis. •Develop system design and specifications which include artifacts such as program logic flows and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation, although specific skill requirements could vary based on the type of development being performed. •Works independently with supervisory review on highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions. •Participates in client interactions and partner with team SMEs to develop system solutions for business problems. •Works within established procedures to develop, test, implement, and maintain application software. •Able to work well with others in teams of varied sizes. •Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
Required Skills:	•5+ years Java programming experience developing J2EE based systems.  •5+ years EJB, JDBC experience •5+ years' experience with real time, high volume transaction systems preferred  •Demonstrated use and knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and design  •Comprehensive working knowledge of Java 5 or higher.  •Experience with JBoss, Websphere, Tomcat, Eclipse, JUnit required  •Experience with servlets/Struts, Spring • Must be well acquainted with MVC architecture and EJB. • Full knowledge of common software design patterns (Gang of Four)  • Experience with XP, Win 7 and Linux operating systems is required  • Demonstrated use and knowledge of various configuration management tools (ClearCase, CVS)  • Experience with Architecture design of multi-tiered client/server applications.  • Able to interpret business requirements and develop technical specifications to meet all team SLAs. • Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of programming and analysis, including design, security, performance and systems integrations. • Must be well organized and self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision. • Excellent verbal/written communication skills. • Ability to work on aggressive schedules. May require work beyond normal hours (weekends or evenings).
