Role: QA Support for Android

Location:  Chesterbrook, PA

Duration: 6 + Months

Phone/Skype

 

QA Support for Android In Home Tablet (IHT) (70%) and Third Party Integration (%30)

 

Job Description: 

Support for Android In Home Tablet (IHT) integration with the Digital Life Controller (DLC) Unit.  Responsible for executing I&T, manual regression and possibly some automated testing

Support 3rd party (eg Lutron, NEST thermostat) integration testing with Digital Life system.  Responsible for integration of 3rd party vendors.

 

Skills Requested:

Strong communications skills-

Strong Web & Mobile application knowledge with test skills and experience with native iOS and Android applications

Web, Rest API test/tool experience

Ability to follow and execute manual Test Cases

Experience in creating test cases/plans, regression documents, etc

Ability to debug and evaluate system log files

 

Skills

Android tool experience (adb, logcat, debugging logs) -  Required

Android automation experience (appium, ranorex or robotium) - Preferred

Web Services test/tool experience (soap, postman, etc) - Required

Selenium, protractor experience - Preferred

Basic Linux/Unix – Preferred
