Role: Reporting Analyst

 Location: Remote

In the Role:

You will Conduct SQL queries and work with other data extraction, reporting and analytic tools to develop management reporting. Collaborate with functional business managers to gather and analyze data, understand data requirements and design and subsequently develop reporting solutions/tools. Responsible for the design, development and testing of SQL based applications to support critical business processes. Design and develop reporting infrastructure utilizing SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS). Participate in process improvement design, development and delivery.  Establish manual and automated production processes for the collection and maintenance of data on an ongoing basis. Complete ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

Skill Set:

•            A minimum of 5+ years of  applying data mining, data warehousing, and OLAP functionality techniques.

•            Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL Server Stored Procedure development and SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services required.

•            Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle including but not limited to table creation, stored procedure development, data transformation services, job scheduler, and performance tuning.

•            Knowledge and experience coding with T-SQL, PL/SQL; MS Access, data normalization and data de-normalization required. Experience with OLAP reporting tools, Crystal Reports or any other enterprise level business analytics software.

•            Knowledge and experience with AJAX, JavaScript and Prototype.

•            Able to work independently & within a team environment

•            Strong communication Skills (written & Verbal).

•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related areas

 

Nice to Have:

•            Healthcare experience

•            Candidate does not need to know C# or programming languages, but must be familiar with the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services architecture and have knowledge of the following technologies: (Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Transact SQL (T-SQL), Microsoft Report Builder and Report Designer, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL, DTS Packages, etc.), Reporting Services Configuration Manager, SQL Server Management Studio SQL Server Data Tools Report Server Command Prompt Utilities (RS Utility)).
