JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems.
•Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of computer development software, such as SQL, Java, J2EE, etc. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities.
• Experience in design, development and testing of .NET web based applications.
• Microsoft .NET framework 4+, ASP.NET, VB, C#. • Microsoft SQL 2008+.
• Ajax UI development with an understanding of MVC, MVVM & Single Page Application development.
• Must have a strong background in full life cycle development with VB.NET including database development including stored procedures, views and tables.
• Solid understanding of web services & WCF architectures.
• Ability to design, code, implement and test web based applications.
• Financial services industry experience a plus.
• Possess a strong understanding of IT concepts including database concepts, structures, OOP, software/application development techniques and testing techniques. Develops a strong understanding of core technologies contained within the LOB application supported. In addition the candidate must exhibit the following.
• Quickly learn and apply new technologies
• Must possess strong system testing skills
• Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
• Sound verbal & written communication skills
• Innovative Years of experience -3-6 years.
