Job Description:
- Enable the customer to see, understand, and directly engage with their business to affect outcomes.
- Be able to show the customer how meaningful their data is.
- Enable direct interaction and discovery through effective interfacing and product design by applying the principals of exploratory data analysis to every everyday visualization needs and reveal the story in the underlying data, patterns, and trends.
- Serves as the conduit between the offshore and the onsite teams
- Perform Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and implementation, Support activities.
- Perform Unit and Integration Testing Activities
- Develop and maintain project documentation including technical specification, unit test plans, presentations, user documentations and training materials
Required Skills:
- Senior Tableau Expert with experience building reports against Teradata
- Must have the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or Teradata SQL
- Experience developing Business Intelligence Applications (Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView, Hyperion, Cognos, etc)
- Exposure to and understanding of Data Warehouse architecture. (ODS, EDS, EDW, Data Marts)
- Must be able to trouble shoot and tune SQL to provide the best performance
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
