USG direct client is looking for Tivoli Batch Coordinator at Lake Oswego, OR

Batch Coordinator

Team member will be a member of the Kaiser Claims Connect (KPCC) Program Implementation Team. KPCC Is implementing Epic's Tapestry claims processing systems across all regions.  The team member will work on the KPCC Batch Team implementing new batch jobs using IBM's Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS). They will be responsible for working with multiple areas in the organization including developers, testing and the business.

 

Technical/Functional Skills:-

·         Experience with an automated Batch Scheduling such as Tivoli or CTRL-M, Tidal

·         Strong knowledge of batch processing and scheduling

·         Experience with Unix scripting

·         Understanding of the SDLC

·         Minimum 3  years of experience in IT Services

·         Healthcare background a plus

·         Epic or any Claims Processing system a plus

·         Development background a plus

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Exceptional customer service orientation

·         Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to IT & Business partners in a clear, focused and concise manner.

·         Lotus Notes Experience a plus

·         Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required.

·         Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. *

·         Assist in other tasks as needed.

·         Traveling is required around 10% of the time

·         Team member to be located in Portland, OR or Denver, CO.  Special consideration will be given for qualified individuals.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:-

 

Day to day responsibilities may include:

·         Build and modify jobs in IBM's Tivoli Work Scheduler

·         Execution of batch jobs during the day

·         Work with developers on implementing new batch jobs

·         Generation of daily batch reports

·         Work with developers troubleshooting issues from failed batch job runs

·         Work with testing to ensure jobs run to success

·         Understanding of the nightly batch schedule
