Rate: $55/hr on C2C
The HR/FICO stream is seeking a functional Business Analyst to help with creating, executing and validating test scripts. The ideal candidate will possess:
• More than 3 years' experience working with SAP with expertise in FICO (Finance and Controlling) and emphasis on Decision Support
• Strong understanding of accounting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Good verbal communication skills
• Good written communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Task oriented
• Experience using the new SAP S/4HANA Finance (formerly SAP Simple Finance) functionality
Main responsibilities include working on the Finance and Controlling Globe Landscape Simplification project; creating, executing and validating test scripts. Additional financial validations for all non finance SAP end to ends.
COPA
• Understanding of both plan and actual on P&L from CCA, transportation and COGS.
• Knowledge of pricing condtions and account postings from Order to Cash process.
• Derviation Rules, characteristics, and financial postings and how to simulate various record type postings.
• Understanding of master data on both the customer and material along with hiearchies for both
• Top/Down and on line Income Statement and line items. Familiar with how to look for unassigned characteristics, record types and drill down into detail with ability to change layouts.
• Famliiar with BW / Financial Reporting and as posted and realigned reports for RIG, Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Familiarity with Business Objects or AFO would be a great asset but can be learned.
• General Ledger accounts, cost elements, and value fields and how they are related to each other.
• Working Capital
• Business Planning
• Reconciliation of COPA, PCA and FI
• COPA and PEC
Desired knowledge:
• Finance and Controlling (FICO), Profit center accounting (PCA), Profitability analysis (CO-PA)
Project system (PS-WBS), Finance accounting (FI-G/L)
• Materials Management (MM), Purchasing process, Inventory management (MH movements), Material master
• Sales and Distribution (SD), Sales process
