THE POSITION duties include:

• System administration on 3rd party Systems - Primarily Solarwinds
• Administration and management of virtual servers related to functions
• Maintain documentation and desk procedures for all team functions
• Knowledge of network storage and utilities
• Knowledge of security appliances
• Knowledge of Web Applications (Apache, Jboss)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Windows 7 operating systems
• Solarwinds Knowledge
• Understanding of network architecture
• Proven customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
• Proven organizational skills
• Demonstrated problem resolution skills and analytical ability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• MCSE, VMWare, or Solarwinds Certification
• Candidate will have an AA in IT or five years of experience as a network administrator
• Network Attached Storage knowledge
• Understanding of PC architecture
