Title: Teradata with SQL
Location: St louis, MO
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer Senior you will be responsible for tuning complex, SQL-based business reports independently and as part of a team. In the position, you will be challenged with understanding the particular challenges that report end-users are having, then identify and implement solutions to enhance and optimize the report SQL and/or the underlying Teradata database configuration. You will also provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Qualifications:
Required:
•4+ years experience developing and tuning SQL on the Teradata platform
•Must have ETL development experience
•Must have experience with scripting languages
•Must have experience working with software configuration management tools
•Must have ability to quickly triage problems, determine root cause and drive resolution
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred:
•Experience with Teradata BTEQ scripting.
•Experience with UNIX & Shell Scripting.
•Experience with Base SAS & SAS Data Integration Studio.
