Position: Sr Java Developer with Websphere
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 7+ Months
Experience with IBATIS into MyBATIS is MUST

Description:
The Worker will be responsible for analyzing, modifying, preparing and migrating custom business applications as needed for Responsive Design, Self Service, and framework upgrade projects.
The Worker must have extensive knowledge and comfort coding in different Java and WebSphere versions. Specific experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, and Java Script is required.
The Worker must be able to follow software development processes, follow detailed project plan and generate work estimates.
As well as take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff.
Worker will performs highly advanced analysis and programming tasks such as:
A senior level Programmer / Developer Analyst must have a strong background in programming and testing. Must be able to quickly develop expertise in complex systems, be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
Worker must provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to current Client staff.

- Implementing bootstrap in existing web applications
- Upgrading existing applications to HTML 5
- Converting existing applications from Struts to SpringMVC
- Converting existing applications from IBATIS into MyBATIS
A senior level Programmer / Developer Analyst must have a strong background in programming and testing. Must be able to quickly develop expertise in complex systems, be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
Worker must provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to current Client staff.
Required Technical Skills:
- 8 years of Experience with software analysis, design and programming
- 5 years of Experience with Java Programming
- 3 years of Experience with HTML5
- 3 years of Experience with CSS and Java Script
- 3 years of Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements
- 2 years of Experience with WebSphere 8.5
- 2 years of Experience with STRUTS
- 2 years of Experience with Spring MVC
- 2 years of Experience with Ibatis/MyBatis
- 2 years of Experience with Responsive Design
- 2 years of Experience working on enterprise level conversion/upgrade Java projects
Preference:
- 2 years of Experience working with enterprise software solutions
- 2 years of Experience working with enterprise software solutions in WebSphere
- 2 years of Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
- 2 years of Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- 2 years of Experience working with CPA's WebFile or MyCPA Systems
