Position: Build Release Engineer
Location: Waltham, Boston MA
Duration: 1 Year
Mandatory Skill:
· Knowledge of Shell, Powershell scripting for automation of deployments on Java deployment tools ( TFS)
· Expertise in Java and deployment tools such as Jenkins/Eclipse/Maven
· Strong expertise deploying Java side applications to Tomcat
· Good knowledge of load balancing and firewall
· Commitment and positive attitude to learn new languages such as Groovy, Grunt, Gradle which are new on opensource technologies
· Experience with continuous integration tools and process
· Ability to expand role to own BASES workbench infra and deployments and other responsibilities with time, working in customer facing role at Boston
Desirable skills :
· Strong communication skills, very good English speaking and writing skills
· Preferable to have knowledge of Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack or any deployment automation tools
Roles and responsibility:
Work closely with QA and development teams to coordinate production releases
•Must be comfortable working and collaborating with multiple teams
•Support and improve our tools for continuous build and release to production
•Deploy hot patches as needed
•Tracking changes in source code control system and versioning releases
