Our client, with warehouses in California and Washington, is seeking a Director of Distribution responsible for the development of warehousing and distribution systems. Primary location is near Los Angeles, CA.

Responsible for overseeing all distribution centers/warehouses and management staff within the territory; leading the development and implementation of automated warehouse solutions; assisting in the design and layout of distribution centers and creating strategic and tactical plans, developing budget and business plan and leading safety programs.

Maintains a professional stature within the related trade service sector through seminars, advisory councils, trade associations and professional writings.

Bachelor's degree in a business related curriculum or a recognized professional designation and a minimum of seven years 3PL industry and management experience. Must be an expert in Distribution, Audit, Customs, Export or Law. Up to 50% travel is required.
