Role: Network Security Engineer (Level Three L3)
Duration: Contract 2 Hire
Location: Richmond, VA
How many level of internal interview (TP1/TP2/Both): 1 rounds (Skype Interview).
Job Description:-
· Network Security Engineer -Level Three L3 ( Job Description)
· Must have 5+ years' experience with Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls.
· Must have experience modifying firewall rule sets, studying network traffic flows to reverse-engineer
· the required firewall rules to lock down an application, and troubleshooting firewall problems in an
· enterprise or service provider environment under short time constraints involving complex network
· application flows between multiple hosts spanning multiple firewalls and different geographic locations.
· Must have hands-on technical experience installing, configuring, documenting, and providing ongoing
· support for Cisco PIX and/or ASA 5500-series /Checkpoint firewalls, and Cisco routers at multiple
· customer sites.
· Experience in implementing Information Security technologies and/or processes required.
· Experience in product evaluation and managing vendor relationships required.
· Experience in defining Information Security strategy and integrating security technologies into corporate
· frameworks.
· Primary Skill Set: Cisco firewalls (ASA 5500 series, PIX, FWSM).
· They must have networking experience and must have experience managing wireless networks
· Should have good communication skills (verbal and written).
· Should have hands on knowledge in IPSEC/SSL Vpn
· Should have hands on knowledge in NIPS ( Proventia, Cisco IPS, Tipping point, Mcafee)
· Should have good knowledge in Proxies and email security.
· Should have good knowledge in Endpoint Security ( NAC, HIPS, PFW, )
· Should be comfortable working in 24*7 environment.
· Should be CCNA/ CCNA (Security) certified.
· CCSP / CCSA / CCSE / JNCIA /JNCIS certifions are prefered.
