LEAD Automated Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: West Sacramento, California

Duration: 4/1/15 – 9/30/15

Contract Type: W2, C2C, or 1099

Contract Rate: Negotiable (Depending on Experience)

QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience with automated testing

· 5+ years' experience with HP (QTP) key-word driven framework

· 5+ years' experience with HP (ALM)

· 5+ years' experience with VB Scripting (VBA)

· 5+ years' experience with Java development

· 3+ years' experience with SQL using SQL Developer

Test Automation Quick Test Professional (QTP) Framework Enhancements the contractor will be responsible for assisting in a QTP code optimization cleanup effort and an overall assessment of the QTP framework.

The code cleanup will require updates to over 80 existing functions that include the following:

Command Parser (Driver Script)

Updates:

Refactor code Migrate some functions to function libraries Function Library Updates: Expand code descriptions (description, parameters, return value, etc.) Remove unused Functions/Sub Routines and comments Update functions to not fail a script in ALM when it errors. May include implementing one of the following for each function On Error Resume Next, Err. Number, Error Description, On Error Go To 0
