- Experience in Flash-Back Recovery, Data Pump, AWR, ASM, ASH and ADDM, Recycle Bin and Grid Monitoring.
- Migrated databases from Windows to Linux, Sun Solaris to AIX.
- Troubleshoot Database performance issues using Automated Workload Repository (AWR) and Automatic Database Diagnostics Monitor (ADDM).
- Knowledge on Oracle Support processes for technical requests through Meta link.
- Planning and scheduling for the backup of database information using UNIX shell script and Crontab jobs.
- Experienced in using Oracle's Transportable Table space (TTS) feature allows users to quickly move a user Table space across Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge and experience of managing Oracle8i, 9i,10g and 11g RAC environments using the OEM GridControl tools.
- Have extensive experience in performance and tuning of OLTP and Datawarehouse applications.
- Data transferring with Export, Import, Data Pump and SQL* Loader utilities.
- Database backup concepts and options such as user-managed backup, RMAN-managed backupwith or without catalog, operating system backup, cold and hot backup, full backup, incremental and cumulative backup.
- Skilled in database upgrades 8i to 9i, 9i to 10g R2 and 10g to 11g.
· Refresh/Cloning of Database and applications for development and testing purpose.
- On call 24x7 Production Support Worked beyond regular hours.
· Dealing with database security and auditing.
· Have extensive knowledge Oracle Application Server Administration (web logic)
