Healthcare Business Analyst
6+ Months Contract
Location: NJ/CT/MN/AZ/NC/CA
Rate: $42/hr on c2c
Required Qualification:
• 5+ years of US Healthcare Business Analysis experience working in large, complex, matrix organization
• 5+ years of Data Analysis (profiling) and source-to-target mapping (including complex business rules) of healthcare data domains
• 5+ years large data warehouse / big data projects
• Deep hands-on analysis experience in one or more of the following data domains: member/eligibility, medical claim, pharmacy claim, lab results, provider
• Functional Specification writing (source-to-target mapping, including complex business rules) of healthcare data domains
• CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) business/data experience
• Agile/Scrum development methodology experience
• Advance SQL experience/skill
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and complete artifacts, including solution design support
• Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team; provide suggestions and recommendations.
• Lead internal review sessions with all levels, including senior leadership.
• Document, discuss and resolve business, data and reporting issues within the team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders
• Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the project team and business stakeholders.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality.
• Effectively communicate with many levels of the organization, business stakeholders/SME, project managers, developers, system architects, quality assurance, operations, etc.
• Ability to deliver quality work, delivered on a tight schedule, and across multiple concurrent assignments
• Microsoft Office, Project, Visio
• Excellent communication skills – oral & written
• Bachelor degree in related field
Preferred Qualification:
• MBA
• Rally (Agile workflow application)
