Overview:

GlobalNet Services, Inc. (GNSI) is an award winning Information Technology firm that is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle APEX Developer.

Responsibilities:

Handle SDLC documentation and application deployment releases and respond to data calls, making metadata and lookup data changes.
Define the scope of projects, understanding a customer's issues/problems, and conceiving customer deliverables.
Apply advanced knowledge of industry trends and key issues and challenges facing a customer.
Maintain data models, including logical and physical and design, develop, and test packages, procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
Manage to completion one large or several concurrent medium-sized projects with multiple deliverables.
Ensure project deliverables meet the customer's expectations.
Develop project plans, monitors project status and ensures project delivery on time and within budget.
Provide data analysis using Oracle SQL.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field
3-5 years' experience in Oracle Application Express APEX development (exposure to version 4 required)
3-5 years' experience in Oracle PL/SQL development (exposure to Oracle 10 or 11 required)
Client-side JavaScript, AJAX
HTML, CSS
XML
Proficiency in Linux operating system, shell scripting
Knowledge of Java/J2EE helpful
Experience with Crystal Reports
