Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a contract TSM Administrator who will be focused on storage and backup related to Tivoli Storage Manager. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operational support including, but not limited to, the following:
· Making sure backup jobs are sent and new backup jobs are set up
· Reviewing logs
· Doing client installs
· Ensuring server logs are reviewed
· General troubleshooting of TSM
Requirements:
· Minimum 2-3+ years’ hands-on Tivoli Storage Manager experience
· Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
· Assertive, go-getter type who is able to work in a very fast paced, challenging technical environment
· Hardworking and committed, with strong customer service orientation
· Able to work with limited direction and hand-holding
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
