SAP BPC Techno Functional Consultant
Location: Lexington, KY
Job Description:
• Single point of Contact for Customer on all BPC related tasks
• Interaction and co-ordination with several teams including BW, ABAP, Support teams, CoE teams, Basis, Functional etc
• Co-ordinate the work with Offshore resources
Technical Responsibilities:
• Migration of existing BPC NW 10 environment to BPC on HANA
• Migration of existing EvDRE Reports and Input Templates to EPM 10
• Defect fixing during the migration to EPM 10 and BPC on HANA
Relevant Years of Experience: 10 years and above
Must Have Technical Qualifications:
• Experience on custom EVDRE reports and input templates.
• Created and Maintained Reports and Input Templates in 10.0 using EPM Editor & dynamic formatting
• Used EPM functions while developing Input Template & Reports
• Extensive experience of BPC Netweaver technology (7.5 or 10.0)
• Experience in both Planning process and Consilidation process
• Working knowledge of BPC Netweaver 10.0
• Basic Understanding of BW for BPC
• Basic Understanding of BADI for BPC
• Worked with custom Data Manager Packages for moving, copying, and transforming data to extend BPC generic packages functionality
• Created and Maintained Applications, Dimensions, application sets
• Created and Maintained Transformation Files and Conversion files
• Worked on the Planning applications related to Cost Planning, Headcount planning, Revenue & Profit and Finance
• Worked on Consolidation Business Rules & logic, such as Copy Opening, Currency Conversion, Intercompany Matching/Elimination and Account Transformation
• Working knowledge of Workstatus
• Worked on Script logic in planning process for Sending data from one application to other
• Worked on Journals to input JV entries in consolidation process
• Worked on Consolidation Central
• Backup and Restore of BPC application
Must Have Business Qualifications:
• Basic Understanding of Financial concepts required for BPC
Nice to Have Qualifications:
• Performed Data Loads from SAP BW Info Cubes to SAP BPC NW Applications
• Worked on Security Setup
• Worked with the financial data loads to BPC from ECC/ BW for consolidation
• Automation of transaction and master data in BPC from BW/ ECC to BPC
• Worked on Interfaces between the BPC applications and BI system to feed data to BPC for planning and consolidation purpose
• Data push from BPC to BW/ other system
