Job Title: Java Lead Developer

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 3 Months+ extendable

Experience: 9+ Years

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

Java team lead responsible for design and development of software applications running on a Websphere + Adobe Experience Manager environment.  Work with business and technical lead to design an ecommerce solution.  The successful candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable taking ownership of features and have a strong commitment to quality.

 

II. Essential Job Functions

Essential Functions (primary responsibilities and accountabilities)

1.           Develop applications on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)  / Java stack

2.           Lead and participate in development

3.           Lead code and design reviews

4.           Track team progress and handle day to day project workflow

5.           Write and assist with documentation

6.           Manage application development duties. Plans, schedules and assigns resources needed to complete tasks.

7.           Adhere to coding standards and promote best practices

 

III. Other Responsibilities

1.           Work closely with business analysts to develop solutions 

2.           Maintain coding standards

3.           Lead unit testing

 

IV. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

•            BS in Computer Science or relevant equivalent•   

Experience:

•            5+ years Java web application development

•            1+ years AEM experience

•            Project leadership experience required

•            Experience with a Java persistence framework is required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•            Design patterns

•            Ecommerce experience is a plus but not required

Job Title: Java Software Architect

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 3 Months+ extendable

Experience: 9+ Years

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

Work with the business team to understand requirements and design a Java software architecture for automotive e-commerce application.  Create class diagrams and other required design artifacts.  Meet with developers to communicate design.  Assit in development and code reviews.  Must have experience with the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).  This is a hands on role and must have a good understanding of design patterns.

 

II. Essential Job Functions

Essential Functions (primary responsibilities and accountabilities)

1.           Design high-level architecture for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) / Java stack

2.           Design detailed software architecture to be used by Java developers (class diagrams, data models, etc.)

3.           Communicate software architecture to developers

4.           Work with Developers and/or Business Analysts to develop technical solutions5.      

 

III. Other Responsibilities

1.           Assist with development

2.           Assist with code reviews

3.           Assist with design reviews

 

IV. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

•            BS in Computer Science or relevant equivalent

Experience:

•            7+ years of Java web application development

•            1+ years of AEM experience•      

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•            Design patterns

•            Database schema design is a plus

Special Instructions:

•            Candidate should bring an example of a software architecture they designed to the interview.

Job Title: UI Developer

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 3 Months+ extendable

Experience: 8+ Years

I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

Work closely with business analysts, developers and creative UX team to develop front end for an application running on Adobe Experience Managern (AEM) / Java architecture.  Sucessful candidate must have a commitment to quality and be able to self-manage tasks.

 

II. Essential Job Functions

Essential Functions (primary responsibilities and accountabilities)

1.           Develop web front end for an ecommerce application

2.           Develop AEM components

3.           Adhere to development standards and promote best practices for UI development

4.           Develop front-ends to be used as non-functional prototypes. 

 

III. Other Responsibilities

1.           Assist in setting standards for UI development

2.           Provide UI requirements to back-end developers

 

IV. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

•            BS in Computer Science or relevant equivalent

Experience:

•            Expertise in JavaScript and Frameworks, such as: Angular, JQuery, etc. 

•            Ability to write reusable, modular CSS for large applications. 

•            Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JSON

•            Experience building front ends for AEM

•            5+ years building web front-ends

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•            HTML5

•            CSS, CSS3

•            JavaScript

•            Front-end frameworks such as JQuery

Special Instructions:

•            Bring portfolio of previous projects to interview
