Oracle System Analyst should have strong technical development experience with functional knowledge in Oracle EBS 11.5.10+.
The primary focus of this position is to use techno functional knowledge of Financial, Inventory, Manufacturing Suite, and Order Management suite, areas to address critical business needs in the technical development and support of Oracle EBS 11i related projects.
The candidate will be part of the Oracle development team involving in the new projects, maintaining the existing projects and support. System Analyst will have effective written and oral skills necessary to take up the tasks of gathering the business requirements, technical development and testing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Oracle System Analyst position has the responsibility for the ongoing support operation, maintenance and enhancement of the e-Business suite of Oracle applications. Enhance existing functionality and change management, upgrades, customizations and migrations as needed to support our growing business.
Providing technical expertise to solve critical business system problems in the core areas of responsibility.
Interpersonal skills to win the confidence of users in all interactions
Flexible to work on big initiatives, small enhancements or even support tickets as needed
Be able to multi-task and work on multiple small projects concurrently
Proven track record as a problem solver with good customer facing skills.
Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Technical Competencies –
5+ years of application development experience in Oracle EBS 11i environments
5+ years of Development experience using SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL queries, database views etc
4+ years of Experience working with Oracle APIs, Data Conversions, Interfaces and Extensions etc.
3+ years of experience with Oracle Reporting Tools i.e., Report Builder, XML Publisher, Discoverer etc.
Strong knowledge of Application Developer experience in creating custom concurrent programs, value sets, Flex fields, Personalization's etc
Expertise in using Development tools – TOAD and Unix scripts
Expertise in Oracle database design, tools (i.e., SQL, TOAD),
Demonstrate strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills.
Experience with Oracle configurator development.
Functional Competencies –
4+ years of working and in depth Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite 11.5.10+ Order Management Suite, Advanced Pricing, Quoting, Advanced Supply Chain planning, Inventory, BOM, WIP and Purchasing modules.
Experience with functional module setups, configurations, profile options, flex fields etc for 11i E-Business suite
Thorough understanding of the business processes in Manufacturing Supply chain modules, Advanced Pricing and Quoting areas to map and implement business requirements with Oracle EBS 11i functionality.
Experience with Oracle Demantra will be preferred, but not required.
