Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration : 6+ months
Required Skills:
Expert Level Understanding of Drupal, PHP, MySQL and integration with third-party APIs.
Solid understanding of Public Website Development Processes, Redesigning and Migration of legacy websites to modernize web technologies
Solid understanding of the Agile Development Methods and working with teams throughout the lifecycle
Highly skilled in Drupal configuration and development, working on Drupal sites, modules, and themes
A strong understanding of HTML5, CSS2/3, and JavaScript and jQuery.
Experience with MySQL databases, and knowledge of web service development and consumption (SOAP, REST, etc)
Experience with responsive design – OMEGA Theme - Ensures cross-device, cross-browser, and cross-platform integrity of web and mobile applications/pages
Experience in Git/Github and source code management
Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be able to perform well in a deadline driven, rapidly changing team environment.
Familiarity with Project Management Tools such as JIRA/Confluence
Solid understanding of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 web standards
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
5+ years web development experience
3+ years of experience with the LAMP stack, and related technologies with Drupal
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication and listening skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
DevOps Skill set will be preferred
