Role: System Analyst
Location: San Francisco, CA
Client: Photon

Key Accountabilities:
· Candidate should understand and analyze complex business needs and will be able to provide suggestions.
· Candidate should be able to analyze business operations and processes to understand strengths and weaknesses and support the identification of opportunities for process improvement, management control of work, or automation.
· Candidate should be able to create requirements definition documentation and functional specifications to capture business needs and workflow diagrams to document current and future business environment.
· Candidate should be able to analyze and call out any blockers in the process.
· Candidate should be able to reviews test plans and scripts for completeness and accuracy. -
· Should be able to provide implementation support, preparing the business for the system solution and act as a subject matter expert and learning activities with Corporate Learning and Development and Business Partners.
· Should serve as a mentor to more junior Business Analysts and delegate tasks as appropriate.
Skills Summary:
· Candidate should maintain current knowledge of industry and business process trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes.
· Candidate should possess familiarity with multiple technologies, business analysis tools, development methods and systems, and relevant programming languages.
· Familiarity with a variety of software development methodologies, and how that applies to own area of work will be a value add.
· Possesses a high level of knowledge and expertise in the business processes, products and services of various business units and how technology is used as decision support within various business units, and the organization as a whole.
· Candidate should understand complex business processes and is able to document them in a logical and comprehensible manner.
· Should be able to support the design of projects that may require integration across multiple technical platforms.
· Must have good communication skills and should be able to work independently
· Must have good understanding of Web Services(Specifically REST), Service Oriented Architecture and open-source tools and technologies
· Must have knowledge of Core Java, OOAD concepts and Design patterns
· Bachelor's Degree preferred and 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must possess knowledge of the Retail Domain
