Capacity Planning architect - No focus on BMC. TrueSight is required instead
· please focus on candidate who can develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods. Prepares the analysis of the short term or long term capacity needs for wireless and wireline infrastructure.
· May conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies.
· Studies and forecasts traffic drivers to determine short and/or long term capacity needs.
May include all or some of the following functions:
· Recommends strategic network architecture planning and network evolution policy decisions in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria;
· Evaluates new and emerging technologies for addition and/or application to existing network systems;
· Conducts economic and population growth studies to determine impact on network capacity and development plan projections; Creates deliverables such as mgmt reports, business cases, infrastructure deployment guidelines, 3 Year Plans, Plans of Record, Project Approval Letters, and Serving Plans;
· Works with key internal stakeholder and vendors to determine future business and customer needs.
CDN Engineer-
· Expectation is someone who has design/planning experiencing building large CDN network ideally someone from Akamai, Limelight, Level 3, Telefonica.
· I am not looking for software engineer for CDN role. Strong background in WAN Optimization techniques and solutions.
· Strong background in Layer 7 technologies and protocols , such as HTTP, DNS, SSL, Web& App Servers, Load Balancers, Content/Application Delivery Network (CDN), Mobile Site/Application Acceleration , Three Tier Architectures.
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and management clients.
Network Engineer - Peering
· The Network Engineer will be responsible for all inbound public peering requests and creating outbound peering solicitations based on traffic analysis, monetary and quality impacts/improvements, and business expansion efforts.
· Qualified candidates must be able to work with existing peering partners and add new peering partners quickly and without error.
· Own inbound peering requests and set up of new/modified peering sessions.
· Has global router access to make routing changes with the initiation of BGP sessions across all POPs. Build a prioritized plan for peering and interconnections with the top ISPs in the top geographies, prioritizing sites and carriers according to the demand of customers against the current interconnection footprint and capacity, ensuring quality performance and SLA achievement.
· Forecast traffic levels, and associated costs against those traffic levels, per network and per geography (at the customer level) to ensure adequate visibility on the cost structure and cost horizon.
· Build appropriate SNC templates and scripts to further automate the tasks while ensuring low risk to the network via a change control process.
Security Engineer (Network)
· Ability to analyze systems from a security standpoint, devising security protocols and mechanisms.
· Expertise in web application attack and defense.
· Expertise in TLS, proper use of cryptography, and security standards.
· Strong familiarity with issues in network security engineering (firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, routing/switching).
· Expertise in secure software subsystems (single sign-on, directory services, clients/terminals, application frameworks, libraries).
· Expertise in security design principles and best practices.
· Working knowledge of compliance standards and process, including PCI and SOX.
· Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Tech Writer (no job description)
· Fluent in Visio and all Microsoft office products
· Architectural Documents -- These can be transposed to Build Designs to Operations into Capabilities Documents
