Title: Java Architect

Location: Long Island City, NY

Duration : Long term

 

JD for Java Technical Architect Position

 

Must have skills –

1. 10+ years of Information Technology experience in the field of software design, development & maintenance of Web & Enterprise applications developed on JAVA and J2EE platform with Java, spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, JAX-RS (Restful, Webservices), Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL as the back end database.

2. Extensive experience in application development using Core Java, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful) and Struts Framework.

3. Extensive knowledge and implementation skills in Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA and JAX – RS (Restful Web-services).

4. Ecommerce/ Retail domain knowledge is a plus

5. Sound understanding of the technologies in the various architecture tiers presentation, middleware, data access and integration

6. Expertize in enterprise systems and software architecture, design, and development.

7. Ability to propose solution using Java / open source technologies.

8. Experience in Architecture consulting engagements

 

Nice to have

0. Knowledge of EJB desired.

1. Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Eclipse, My Eclipse, Net beans, TOAD, SVN, CVS and TFS etc.

2. Have good knowledge on PCI and Payment methods, and integrated Ecommerce platforms with PayPal, Cybersource Payment Gateways
