Net Solution Architect to join our team in Marysville, OH

Job Decription:

Client is looking to  upgrade its NORTH AMERICAN REPROTING SYSTEM (NARS) to a robust  platform. The future state solution should be geared toward providing better usability, greater reliability and allow for  easy maintenance and extensions.

 

To achieve the future state, Client wants an assessment done of the NARS application. Specifically, Client would like to:

 

• Document the current issues with existing Business Layer, Reporting layer and Data Layers
• Reverse Engineer the current Application to extract and document all business rules
• Reverse engineer stored procedures to extract business rules
• Build a prototype of the user interface based existing look and feel of screens
• Execute assessment of NARS in an iterative manner

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Primary responsibility: Lead the technical assessment for the NARS application
• Lead discussions with SMEs
• Review application architecture, logs, issues and source code
• Identify and document gaps in current state
• Develop current state assessment document and review with client
• Analyze current state finding and develop future state solution options
• Rank options, identifying pros and cons
• Develop implementation roadmap and ROM effort estimates

Skills:

• Must have a Minimum 10 years of experience as a developer or architect
  using the following Microsoft technologies: .NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
• Must have at least 4 years experience as an architect/senior developer
  on a Web based project
