Title: Senior Oracle DBA (Client will pay expenses)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Duration: 1+ Month
Must have 10 years of experience
Must have experience with data modeling and working with software developers.
*Excellent communication skills
We will be asking the individual to evaluate needed on-going database maintenance(reorgs, index builds, stats, etc.) and automate as appropriate. The first assignment will be on Red Prairie (JDA WMS), and may lead to other systems such as JDE and other JDA systems. The initial contract will be 1 month.
Supports advanced strategic activities related to standards, practices, conventions and architectural frameworks for database platforms, database tools and overall company database macro metadata repository. Support application development activities with analysis, estimating, design/modeling, metadata and implementation activities. Support operational activities with database recovery, tuning, monitoring, platform maintenance/upgrades, and client connectivity at an expert level.
