Role: Remedy Developer

Location: - Indianapolis, Louisville, Baltimore, Syracuse, OPW considered on case-by-case basis (Work can be performed from any of these offices)

Duration: - 1 year +

 

·         Skills/Experience/Education Required:

·         5-7 years technical experience with BMC Remedy Action Request System, including 7.6x and higher 

·         5-7 years of experience with ITSM Suite 7.6x and higher – Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management

·         5-7 years of  experience with Remedy User Tool, Import Tool, Developer Studio, Remedy Migrator

·         5-7 years of experience with Crystal Reports and Remedy Reporting

·         5-7 Experience working in a multi-tenancy Remedy environment

·         5-7 years working in a Windows and/or UNIX environment

·         Experience configuring and customizing Remedy 7.5 version and higher as desired

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred

·         Four or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering or operating systems programming.

·         Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas

·         5-7 years of experience working with one or more structured programming languages

·         Experience working with design principles and applications

·         Good familiarity with ITIL terms and methodologies

·         Good Analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of systems

·         Excellent Communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management; ability to communicate system proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems

·         Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members

·         Organization skills to balance and prioritize work

·         Leadership skills to assist less experienced personnel

·         Mentoring and training skills to guide and direct work of less experienced specialists

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team
