STRONG PREFERENCE FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES SME
Requirements:
· Must have 7+ years of experience as an Enterprise ETL Architect using Datastage 8.X and above including:
· Participate in all design phases of the development methodology cycle to architect and implement information technology solutions to meet business requirements inclusive of ETL strategies and solutions by utilizing established methodologies and best practices
· Make recommendations for ETL design and performance enhancements
· Develop and maintain ETL architectural design specifications
· Design and develop ETL Test strategies
· Prepare, maintain and publish ETL architectural documentation, including high-level design, source-to-target mappings and business-driven transformation rules
· Must have strong experience with IBM Quality stage, Information Analyzer, FastTrack, and Business Glossary
· 3+ years of experience in designing Parallel, Server Jobs, Job Sequencers and Batch Jobs in IBM DataStage 8.5 and above
· Must have 5+ years of Datastage ETL development experience in extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and integrating data from multiple systems and heterogeneous formats
· Strong experience in business user interaction and requirements gathering
· Strong working knowledge of data warehouse architecture, star schema, snowflake schema, fact tables and dimensional tables
· Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional)
· Strong expertise in programming PL/SQL in Oracle 10g/11g
· Strong experience in performance tuning and optimization of Datastage ETL solutions
· Experience developing ETL solutions for Oracle 10g and above
· Experience in Cognos 10 Business Intelligence Suite
