Job Title: DWH QA Analyst
Location: Detroit MI
Duration: 12+ Months
Hire: Phone/Skype
Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following companies-HUGE PLUS: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Anthem, BCBS, Horizon, Champus/Tricare, Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY & NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP. Possible Options- Healthcare consulting vertical experience.- Accenture, Slalom, PWC, KPMG, Cerner, etc.
Requirements:
· Must have 3-5 experience in Q/A-software testing & 1 year experience in enterprise data warehouse environments including:
o Experience in test automation is required
o Strong hands-on PL/SQL coding experience is required.
o Create stored procedures and queries to automate testing
o Responsible for writing, executing and debugging PL/SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing
o Ensure content and structure of all testing documents / artifacts are documented and maintained
o Prepare / review test conditions, test cases and test scripts
o Execute test cases / scripts
o Log and track defects to closure
· Experience testing data for data marts, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
o Must have previous experience with project team in requirements gathering and analysis
o Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts
· Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus
· Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
· Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
