I have the following position open. Please let me know your thoughts.

 

3 references required.

Candidates should have at least 60 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply: 

• Hands-on experience architecting and performing database administration functions for Oracle 10g and/or 11i databases including backup and restore, database maintenance, execution of database scripts, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  
• Experience in architecting and performing database optimization, performance, and tuning.
  
• Experience with designing, implementing and maintaining new databases.
  
• Experience with configuring and supporting Data Guard to ensure high availability.
  
• Hands-on experience working with a 3 tier high availability application infrastructure includes connection pools and clustering queuing.
  
• Experience with architecting and administering Oracle servers in a Linux environment.
  
• Experience with Golden Gate for data replication.
  
• Hands-on experience with security including user management.
  

Please note that our client does allow Skype/remote interviews.  However they reserve the right to require an in-person interview.
