Role	Big Data Application Support Engineer (Sr. Hadoop Developer)
Mandatory Technical Skills	Hive, Map Reduce and Java.
Desirable Technical Skills	Pig, Avro, Thrift. Redshift, Impala and other accelerator technologies in the Amazon AWS environments.
Mandatory Functional Skills	• Provide support for already developed scripts and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data integrated from multiple data sources. • Document, maintain as-Is and To-Be Data and technical process flow diagrams. • Work with Big Data Platform provider, support and development teams to troubleshoot complex production issues. • Monitor and maintain Big Data Platform core ingestion/processing applications. • Maintaining Big Data Platform core ingestion/processing source code repository and release notes. • Monitor data sources/Buffer servers and work with local Site and Buyer network, infrastructure, security teams to resolve any issues. • Set up BDP production support processes around ITIL framework and use tools like Service Now to monitor and track support tickets and resolution. • Update internal collaboration sites like Jive with appropriate Big Data Platform updates /announcements • Develop integration scripts that transfer data between Hadoop and Redshift /other relational DBMS
