Role:  WebSphere Transformation Extender  (WTX) Developer

Location: Columbus, Oh

Length: Multiyear contract

 

Interview Process:  phone interview / onsite interview   (can do Skype)

 

Technologies/Environment: WebSphere Transformation Extender V8, Java, PL/SQL, WebSphere MQ

 

Work Environment: Fast-paced, creative, laid back / team environment

 

Client is currently seeking a WTX developer for a long term project in Columbus, OH. The qualified candidate will work with an application development team for the Customer Operations business unit in support of our clearing house application that supports our overall customer choice activities.

 

Skills Needed:

 

•                      4+ years of WTX development experience

•                      4 + years of Oracle PL/SQL experience

•                      2+ years WebSphere MQ experience

•                      Strong testing skills.  Able to lead/participate in technical testing with application team.   Experience interfacing with business customer during User Acceptance Testing.

•                      Has performed work in an Agile environment.  Understands Scrum fundamentals.

•                      Strong communication skills

•                      Understands how to document designs

•                      Able to work independently and with a group.

•                      Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.

 

Strongly Preferred Skills:

 

·         IBM Certified Developer: WebSphere Transformation Extender V8.*

·         Java

·         C/C++

·         Unix
