Position: Cisco Network Architect
Location: Dallas TX
Type of employment: C2C/ C2H/ FTP

Job Description:
Senior Network Architect will be responsible for designing voice and data networks, including Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), internet, and other data communication systems to meet the established SLA's. This position will also oversee all aspects of networking operations at the client's Support Center.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 
•The Architect will also be assigned and responsible for Designing, Configuring, and Installing WAN, MAN, and LAN facilities that will be used as the transport of this service.
•Interact with technical management to gather requirements and create solutions to meet emerging business needs.
•Responsible for documenting the requirements gathered and working with the Infrastructure Team (internal Engineers and vendors) to design, develop, and oversee implementations according to customer's requirements
•Research, recommend, and develop implementation of new technology products
•Respond to critical outages and production related issues 24/7 to ensure that network uptime requirements are consistently met or exceeded.
•Ensure successful completion of short and long term project work including but not limited to proactive network band width upgrades, end of life network switch and router upgrades, wireless network implementations & software and IOS upgrades that will bring existing equipment up to current prescribed standards in an effort to continually drive improvements in network performance.
•Responsible for Network Operations, Service Desk, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes.
•Develop technology road maps for future store and data center networks

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED:
•BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
•CCIE Written a MUST – with ability to pass Lab within 12 months. Any additional Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a PLUS
•10+ years Data Network Design experien
